A Loving Foundation in Learning

Jacksonville Christian Preschool provides childcare for working parents in a loving Christian atmosphere. Our program is designed to be an extension of the home; our staff to be an extension of the parent.


We maintain the concept of developing the total child and meeting their needs. We realize the demanding responsibility involved in the proper care and training of children and pride ourselves in being a “learning center” rather than a babysitting service.

Care Hours

Childcare is offered from 6am to 6pm, M-F. Children may only stay in preschool and daycare a maximum of 10 hours per day. Before and after care prices are included in tuition costs for full-day Preschool students.

Academic Hours

Academic hours are from 8am to 12 pm. Children will gain experience with language, numbers, Bible Stories, and arts.

Ages 2½ to 4

JCP provides childcare for children ages 2½ to 4. Children must be potty trained.

Hot Lunch

Full Day students receive a free hot lunch daily.

K-4

Phonics and Reading: Recognition of name, sound, and picture or long and short vowels and consonants. Sounding of blends and one- and two-vowel words. Reading of sentences and stories with one-and two-vowel words.

Poetry: Twenty-eight poems and finger plays committed to memory.

Cursive Writing: Formation of letters, blends, and words. Writing of first name.

Language: Language development and listening skills that include:
